När de sista tonerna av ”Hold Me Closer” ringde ut i Melodifestivalen 2022 dröjde det inte lång tid innan Cornelia Jakobs gick från favorittippad till favorit – när hon utsågs till fansens favorit under Eurovision Song Contest i Turin. Hon har sedan dess belönats med dubbla Rockbjörnar, Musikförläggarnas pris och nu senast korats till Årets nykomling på Grammisgalan.
Våren 2023 återvände Cornelia Jakobs som mellanakt i Eurovision Song Contest där vi såg henne uppträda med en cover av Mel C:s ”I Turn To You”. Hon har dessutom släppt låtar som “Rise”, “Bloody Mind”, “Need You Now” samt en tolkning av “It Takes a Fool To Remain Sane”. Detta är dock bara startskottet i framgångssagan som stavas Cornelia Jakobs – under 2024 väntas mer musik från Cornelia och hon befinner sig just nu i studion och arbetar med sitt debutalbum.
Våren 2024 är det dags för en ny turné för att stilla det skriande behovet att höra en av våra mest intressanta röster just nu. Startskottet går av stapeln på Vega i Köpenhamn och därefter besöker Cornelia Jakobs totalt 12 länder runt om i Europa innan hon avslutar på hemmaplan med en Sverigeturné. En vårturné som avslutas i Malmö i samband med Eurovision Song Contest.
When the final notes of ”Hold Me Closer” echoed in Melodifestivalen 2022, it didn’t take long before Cornelia Jakobs went from being a favorite to the favorite – when she was crowned the fans’ favorite during the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. Since then, she has been rewarded with double Rockbjörnar, the Music Publishers’ Prize, and most recently named the Newcomer of the Year at the Grammis Gala.
In spring 2024, it’s time for a new tour to satisfy the screaming need to hear one of our most intriguing voices right now. The tour kicks off at Vega in Copenhagen and then Cornelia Jakobs will visit a total of 12 countries across Europe before concluding with a Sweden tour on home soil. A spring tour that culminates in Malmö in conjunction with the Eurovision Song Contest.
In light of the large public gatherings taking place during the Eurovision Song Contest from May 4th to May 11th in the city, we will be implementing special security measures, following the recommendations of Malmö city and other authorities for all events. More information below.

Babel has a zero-tolerance policy towards violence, threats, sexual harassment, drugs, weapons, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and all forms of abuse. To ensure the safety of our guests, there will be a searching and identification check at the entrance. Babel has a mandatory jacket fee of 30 SEK where all outer jackets must be checked in. From May 4th to May 11th, a total ban on bags will be enforced during Babel’s events. Bags are not allowed to be checked into the cloakroom. The bag ban applies to all types of bags regardless of size – including small bags such as handbags, fabric bags, and plastic bags. However, wallets that fit in your pocket are allowed to be brought in.
Exceptions to the bag ban only apply to individuals who, for medical reasons, need to bring a bag. Allowed bags must be inspected by security personnel at the entrance before entry. All outside food and drinks are prohibited at the venue.
